Paraffin emulsions are high performance materials and actively used, primarily in wood industry, but also in concrete, plaster fiberglass/rockwool and paper industries. It has excellent properties such as being liquid at room temperature, having low viscosity, repelling water with its paraffin nature, having possibility of different emulsion systems as anionic, cationic or nonionic and being inflammable.

Paraffin is mainly used in candle production. However it is also used in different industrial applications such as wood, paper, construction, agriculture, coating, physical therapy, pharmacy and cosmetic. Thanks to its unique chemical structure and inert nature, it is widely used in applications where water needs to be avoided or have adverse effects.
